Rita is a development consultant with over 15 years of international consulting experience in this sector. Prior to 2009, she was a senior manager of the International Development Assistance service line at an International professional services firm, and also previously worked with Deloitte Zambia and Deloitte South Africa in similar capacities. Her work experience mainly comprises the provision of consultancy services to different types of donors, public and private sector companies, NGOs and the Governments. Key coverage areas included monitoring and evaluation (M&E), strategy development, organisational development, resource mobilisation, governance, project management and coordination, and project / concept development. A significant amount of Rita’s work since 2006 has been as an M&E expert for several Local Fund Agent (LFA) – in Ethiopia, Namibia, Uganda, Ukraine, Rwanda, Swaziland, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Since 2009 she has also served as a technical expert and team leader on several MSH/Grant Management solutions (GMS) assignments in Mauritius, Nambia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Rita has a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). She is also a certified FranklinCovey trainer for several Leadership and Productivity courses including: the 7 Habits of Highly effective people; the 5 Choices to Extraordinary productivity; and Project Management.

With over 14 years of consulting experience in the development sector, Kennedy has worked as M&E officer for Civic education in Kenya funded by like minded donors led by DfID, a team leader for research projects at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Nairobi, and as a consultant for donor funded programs in the public and private sector, NGOs and Governments. Kennedy has a Master’s degree in Human Ecology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. His areas of expertise include capacity assessments, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), resource mobilization, governance, project management and coordination. Kennedy has worked on the Global Fund to fight Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS grants as Monitoring and Evaluation expert supporting a Local funding agency and involved in capacity assessments in M&E system, Governance and programmatic, evaluations, review of progress reports data quality audits and M&E systems strengthening special assignments related to spot checks. He has worked in the following countries: Kenya, Namibia, Eritrea, Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Vietnam. Kennedy has also undertaken Global Alliance for Vaccine Initiative (GAVI) assessment on Monitoring and Evaluation systems and Governance/Oversight mechanisms in Eritrea.

She has a diverse background, with 18 years’ of varied work experience including teaching and training, market research, business analysis and monitoring and evaluation.
Since 2006, Konni’s professional focus has been in M&E, with emphasis on the health sector and in particular HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria - mostly in Southern and Eastern Africa, where she has undertaken a range of M&E assignments. She has sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria programmes and related M&E systems and strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
Her experience over the years has encompassed the private sector, public sector, NGOs and various consultancies. She has worked in the UK, Spain, South Africa, Mozambique, Rwanda, Namibia, Uganda and Zambia. She is multi-lingual, with strong oral and written communication skills excellent interpersonal skills.

As a business advisor, Daniel assists organizations in both the private and public sector to strengthen their financial management, and, to implement management control systems. He studied Business Systems Analysis at the City University in London, UK. Daniel is a Practicing Chartered Management Accountant. He is a Past President of the Mauritius Branch of CIMA and served as a Board member of the CIMA Southern Africa Regional Board (now the CIMA Africa Board). Daniel is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has contributed in the elaboration of the Mauritius “National ICT Strategic Plan 2007-2011”. He leads round-table discussions on “Global Management Accounting Principles” and is also a member of CIMA’s “Panel of Assessors” for new admissions towards membership of the Global Institute. Daniel serves as independent member or adviser on several Audit & Governance Committees.

He has previously been involved in prevention and control of tropical and infectious diseases, health systems strengthening, health program management including monitoring and evaluation, operational and clinical research as well as health service delivery through public and private platforms. Most of the programs that Preston has worked with have focused on health issues of importance in developing countries including: HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, family planning and other broader reproductive health issues, maternal and child health and more recently non-communicable diseases. He continues to provide consultancy services to various local and international NGOs working in the health sector.
